I have had the privilege to work alongside some amazing teacher leaders at North HS this year. Over the past two weeks, I have spread my purple wings and been able to observe leaders sprinkled all over the School District of Waukesha. Every one of us, when we arrive at our respective Waukesha buildings each day, owns the title, leader. Teacher, aide, clerical, custodian...if you sign a contract with our school district, you have the amazing responsibility to lead.
Collaboration, trust, teamwork, continuous learning, innovation....these are all core values that I have witnessed throughout our system over the past few weeks and I am honored to roll up my sleeves and lead alongside each of you, as we strive for high levels of engagement and achievement that impact all of our learners. Never underestimate the gift you are given and the responsibility to make big things happen. It doesn't take a title to positively grow your impact in our district.
